Cammisuli Shows Down Queens to Take Another

Attila Almasi had a raise of 7,200 in front of him from the cutoff and Flaviano Cammisuli then reraised to 17,000 in the small blind. Almasi called and the flop came A10A.

Cammisuli continued for 9,000 and Almasi raised to 25,000. Cammisuli called and both players checked down the 5 turn and 7 river.

Cammisuli showed QQ and Almasi mucked.

Boris Angelov and Gediminas Dirmantas built a pot of around 20,000 as they went heads-up to a flop of 753. Angelov then bet 8,500 from the button and Dirmantas called in the cutoff.

Angelov bet another 12,000 on the 5 turn and Dirmantas called. The river was the J and Angelov moved all in for 45,000. Dirmantas took several minutes as he considered the decision, eventually laying down his hand as Angelov took the pot.

With around 10,000 chips already in the middle on a board of A4Q3, Onur Gizir checked it over to Maria Lampropulos, who fired 7,800. Gizir called

A 5 dropped on the river where Gizir checked again, then Lampropulos elected to check back after a while.

Gizir flipped A10 for two pair, but surprisingly he didn't have the winner as Lampropulos checked back a set holding 44.

Eljach Versus Foxen

With two players seeing a board of 43810 and around 5,000 in the middle Alex Foxen bet 4,800 from the small blind and Omar Eljach called from middle position.

On the J river Foxen fired another barrel for 12,000. Eljach made the call.

Foxen could only show a missed gutshot with 76 while Eljach had top pair with KJ to take the pot.

Mihai, Cammisuli Win With River Bets

Heads-up on a flop of KA6, Nicolae Mihai bet 6,000 from the cutoff and Ib Poulsen called in the hijack.

The turn was the 9 and Mihai bet another 11,000. Poulsen again called to see the 3 river, where Mihai bet 16,000. Poulsen quickly folded this time.

At another table, Ilija Savevski and Flaviano Cammisuli built a pot of around 25,000 as they saw a flop of Q2Q. Cammisuli then bet 5,000 from the small blind and Savevski called on the button.

Both players checked the 3 turn and the 4 fell on the river. Cammisuli bet another 36,000 and Savevski quickly folded.

Kristen Foxen recently took her seat in the tournament to the left of Mihai.

Tomescu Cold Five-Bets

Matei Lupascu made it 2,200 from under the gun then Frank Schmueser three-bet to 5,200 from middle position. Frederik Thiemer was in the hijack and four-bet to 10,500, and George Tomescu made a cold five-bet to 20,000 on the button.

Despite the preflop aggression, no more excitement was added to the hand as Lupascu, Schmueser, and Thiemer all folded fairly quickly.
