Stojanovic Finds an Ace to Stun Kabrhel

Nivel 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised to 11,000 in early position and Vlada Stojanovic three-bet to 33,000 in middle position. Kabrhel four-bet to 113,000, Stojanovic moved all in for 388,000, and Kabrhel snap-called.

Vlada Stojanovic: AK All in
Martin Kabrhel: KK

Kabrhel was ahead with his kings and poised for a massive knockout, but Stojanovic spiked top pair on the A27 flop to leave Kabrhel looking for just one out. The rest of the board ran out 82 and the normally loquacious Kabrhel could only say "nice hand" as he handed over the pot.

Andreas Frohli raised to 10,000 in the hijack. Small blind Vladimer Gigolashvili then went all in for 52,000 and Rachid El Yaacoubi quickly rejammed from the big blind, covering both players.

Frohli folded, leaving himself 28 big blinds behind.

Vladimer Gigolashvili: AQ All in
Rachid El Yaacoubi: KK

The 105J flop brought Gigolashvili two more outs, but neither the 3 turn nor the 9 river helped him further as he departed during the penultimate level of Day 2.

Procop Goes For Razor Thin Value, Mihai Pays Off

Nivel 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nicolae Mihai
Nicolae Mihai

There were already almost 200,000 chips in the pot on a board of 9Q2Q when both Egor Procop and Nicolae Mihai checked.

A 10 came on the river and after a bit of thinking, Procop put out a small bet of 20,000. Mihai grabbed some chips and played with them for a while, then he tossed in a blue chip, worth 25,000, into the pot and called

Procop showed AK for ace-high, then Mihai showed AJ also for ace-high, but with a worse kicker.

Was that a value bet from Procop? Only he knows, but if it was, it's razor-thin.

Heads-up on a flop of J105, Cecile Ticherfatine bet 35,000 from the button, Andras Nemeth moved all in for 120,000 in middle position, and Ticherfatine snap-called.

Andras Nemeth: J10 All in
Cecile Ticherfatine: JJ

Nemeth showed top two pair, but Ticherfatine had JJ for top set and Nemeth found himself already drawing dead by the 4 turn. The river was the 7 and Nemeth was sent to the rail.

"We've seen some pretty sick hands today," tablemate Niklas Astedt said.

Fabian Gumz opened to 10,000 from middle position and Martin Kabrhel called from the small blind.

A 3 dropped on the turn and Kabrhel fired 60,000, which Gumz called.

When the Q hit the river, Kabrhel checked, and Gumz knuckled back to take it to showdown. Kabrhel flipped Q6 for a pair or queens, but Gumz had a set with 99 to take the pot.

Svesko Busts With Kings vs Rezei's Aces

Nivel 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Darko Svesko
Darko Svesko

Darko Svesko five-bet shoved from the big blind for roughly 240,000 over a Daniel Rezaei four-bet. Rezaei quickly rechecked his cards before making the call.

Darko Svesko: KK All in
Daniel Rezaei: AA

It was a brutal cooler for Svesko, who needed to find a two-outer to continue in the event. The runout of 2J7758 didn't help Svesko and he was out of the tournament.

Deeb Takes From Jachtmann

Nivel 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 12,000 in middle position and Shaun Deeb called in the cutoff.

The flop came K6K and Jachtmann bet 10,000. Deeb called and the 10 fell on the turn. Jachtmann then bet 25,000 and Deeb called once more.

Jachtmann slowed down and checked the 9 river. Deeb quickly checked back and Jachtmann showed A6 for two pair, but Deeb had A10 for kings and tens to win the pot.
