Marcinkowski needed to avoid an ace to stay alive, and he successfully made it through the 6♦5♦2♥4♣10♥ board to double up as he and Thiemer effectively switched stacks.
Nearly 1,000,000 was already in the middle as Krasimir Yankov and Patrik Zidek went to the river on a board of J♣A♥5♣3♠2♥.
According to Zidek, Yankov bet 50,000 on the flop from the hijack and he raised to 155,000 on the button. Zidek then bet 275,000 on the turn and Yankov called once more.
Zidek moved all in on the river and Yankov, with around 450,000 remaining, burned through several time banks until he called. Zidek turned over 5♥5♦ for a set and Yankov tossed A♣10♣ into the muck before making his exit.
Shaun Deeb limped in from the small blind and Daniel Koloszar checked from the big blind.
The flop came 2♥5♠J♥. Deeb checked, Koloszar bet 25,000, Deeb check-raised to 85,000 and Koloszar called.
Both players checked the A♦ turn and 7♣ river. Koloszar turned over fourth pair with 9♦5♦ and Deeb mucked.
Tomas Patka raised to 75,000 from the small blind and Robin Berggren defended out of the big blind.
Patka bet 75,000 on the 8♠5♠5♥ flop and Berggren called.
Both players checked the J♠ turn and 9♥ river. Patka showed K♥3♦ for just king-high, and was second best to the A♣7♦ of Berggren with ace-high.
Mallory Frere opened to 60,000 from under the gun. Alberti Sanaia used his 30-second shot clock and called from the next seat over before Pawel Wojciechowski called from the big blind.
Wojciechowski checked on the Q♠10♥7♠ flop and Frere continued for 100,000, leaving 225,000 behind. Sanaia then began to stare down Frere, and eyed up his stack. He used three time banks before opting to fold and Wojciechowski followed suit.
Enrico Camosci raised to 50,000 under the gun and Jorge Manzur Duarte three-bet to 180,000 in middle position. Rachid El Yaacoubi then four-bet to 280,000 in the cutoff.
Camosci folded, but Manzur Duarte five-bet to 650,000. El Yaacoubi turned over J♥J♣ and tossed his cards into the muck. Manzur Duarte showed him K♥K♣ as he took the pot.
Gerald Karlic made a raise to 50,000 under the gun. Chipleader Rachid El Yaacoubi called on the button and the pair subsequently checked through the A♣4♣10♠ flop.
Karlic also checked the Q♣ turn before El Yaacoubi barreled 85,000 into the middle. Karlic quickly called and the 9♠ river hit the table.
Karlic checked, Yaacoubi fired 235,000, around a third of Karlic's remaining chips, and Karlic folded after spending one time bank.
Daniel Koloszar raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Viktor Blom three-bet to 125,000 from the button. Said Madani just called from the small blind, which brought in Koloszarwith a call as well.
The three players saw a flop of 3♠4♣A♦, which was checked to Blom and he fired out a bet of 100,000. Madani called, but Koloszarfolded.
Madani check-called a bet of 285,000 from Blom on the 9♦ turn.
The dealer dropped the 7♦ on the river and Madani checked. Blom quickly fired out a bet of 650,000 and after just a few moments, Madani made the call.
Blom turned over A♥K♣ for top pair. Madani couldn't beat that as he slid his cards face down into the muck and Blom dragged in a huge pot.
Gerald Karlic oepend to 50,000 from early position. Dietrich Fast and Said Madani called from middle position and the big blind.
Karlic continued for 45,000 on the J♣8♠2♥ flop and Fast was the only caller. Karlic sized up to 165,000 on the 10♥ turn, and after using a time bank, Fast called once more.
The 3♥ river then checked through to showdown.
Karlic tabled K♦J♠ for a pair of jacks while Fast turned over 8♥8♣ for a set of eights for the winner.
