Andrea Ricci opened from under the gun and called when Niclas Thumm jammed for 300,000 from the cutoff.

Thumm paired up on the A♣6♥3♦ flop and secured the double up after the 2♠ turn. The 7♦ completed the board and Thumm took in the pot.
Shaun Deeb raised to 40,000 under the gun and Daniel Koloszar three-bet to 105,000 in early position. Deeb called and the flop came K♥7♦4♥.
Koloszar bet another 55,000 and Deeb called. Koloszar then bet 160,000 on the 6♦ turn and Deeb used a time bank before calling once more.
The 9♣ fell on the river and Koloszar moved all in for 365,000, sending Deeb deep into the tank. He burned through multiple time banks and eventually called as Koloszar turned over K♣K♦ for top set. Deeb flung his cards into the muck, exposing the 9♦, as Koloszar doubled up.
At another table, Felix Seelentag busted Patrik Jaros when he jammed with ace-queen and Jaros called off his last chips with king-jack.
Marco Di Persio raised from the button before Sirzat Hissou made it 135,000 from the big blind. Di Persio jammed for 540,000 and Hissou appeared to make a reluctant call.

Di Persio was the huge favorite and doubled up after the 7♠9♥2♦9♠5♠ runout.
Ran Koller put in his last 100,000 from the button and Matei Lupascu called from the big blind.

Koller called for his one time but found little help on the A♥10♣7♦ flop. The 7♠ turn gave Lupascu the checkmark ahead of the 7♥ river.
David Hochheim raised from middle position with Matei Lupascu calling on the button. The two players saw a flop of 7♠8♣6♦ and Hochheim check-called a bet of 35,000 from Lupascu.
Hochheim check-called another bet from Lupascu on the A♥ turn, this time for 65,000.
After Hochheim checked the 3♠ river, Lupascu bet 330,000 and got a quick fold from Hochheim.
Gaspare Sposato was all-in for roughly 450,000 in middle position and was up against Tomas Patka in early position.

Sposate desperately needed help, but the 10♣2♥6♠4♠3♥ runout did not provide it. His pocket jacks remained second best versus the kings of Patka, eliminating him from the tournament.
Dariusz Marcinkowski opened to 40,000 from under the gun and David Dongwoo Ko, seated directly to his left, made the call.
The flop came Q♥9♦4♦. Marcinkowski checked and Ko bet 40,000. Marcinkowski made the call.
Ko bet again for 190,000 when checked to on the 10♠ river. Marcinkowski moved all in for around 600,000 and Ko snap-folded.
Simone Andrian raised to 40,000 in early position and Simon Buchta called in middle position. Marius Moldoveanu put in his last 80,000 from the cutoff and Andrian reshoved to force out Buchta.

The A♣ fell right in the window and Moldoveanu was already out of his seat by the time the rest of the 7♠4♠ flop was dealt, giving Andrian top pair and a flush draw. Moldoveanu had only one out but failed to hit the J♣ turn or 9♦ river as he was sent to the rail.
