Andrian Reaches Eight Figures, Busts Sanaia

Nivel 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Simone Andrian
Simone Andrian

Pavel Svach raised to 125,000 in the cutoff. Simone Andrian defended his big blind and then check-raised on the 1085 flop. Svach had continued for 175,000, which Andrian made 525,000 to go.

Svach called to the Q turn, which they both checked. Andrian picked up the aggression again and fired 450,000 on the 4 river and was snapped off by Svach.

Andrian tabled QJ for top pair, eliciting a sigh from Svach as he paid his opponent.

The next hand, Andrian open-jammed from the small blind and Alberti Sanaia instantly called off his stack of 1,200,000 in the big blind.

Alberti Sanaia: AK All in
Simone Andrian: 55

"I think it's going to be hard for you," Andrian said before the 8K4 flop was dealt.

It turned out Andrian was right, as the 105 runout rivered him a set, beating the flopped top pair of Sanaia. Sanaia immediately left the tournament floor as Andrian stacked up an enormous pile of chips.
