Krutaj Leaves Grecu Steaming and on Fumes
Nivel 18
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Cristi Grecu, who was on the fortunate side of a double up earlier today, just found himself on the wrong end of a cooler against Amarildo Krutaj.
Heads-up on a board of K♠8♥2♥7♦, Grecu bet 40,000 from middle position and Krutaj moved all in for 110,000. Grecu called with K♥J♠ for top pair, but Krutaj had K♣7♣ for turned two pair.
Grecu slammed his chips on the table once Krutaj revealed his cards and watched as the 6♦ river forced him to hand over most of his stack. Grecu was still muttering to himself and fumbling his chips around while the pot was pushed to Krutaj.
