Ghashayar Goes for Gold
Nivel 23
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Candido Cappiello decided to call Iman Ghashayar's raise of 100,000 from the big blind.
When the flop came down Q♠3♠A♥, Ghashayar checked and then called Cappiello's bet of 200,000. The action continued on the 6♠ turn, where Cappiello fired again with a bet of 325,000, which Ghashayar also check-called.
However, the dynamic shifted dramatically on the river as the K♦ appeared. Ghashayar seized the moment, taking the lead with a bet of 175,000. Faced with this unexpected aggression, Cappiello weighed his options but ultimately decided to fold, relinquishing the pot of over 1,300,000 to Ghashayar.
