Nan Liu opened to 50,000 from the Hijack with A♣K♠10♥7♠ and was called by Vladyslav Shovkovyi in the small blind with A♥K♣6♣5♦ and John Compton in the big blind with K♦Q♦J♦3♦.

The flop came out K♥J♣7♣ and Compton bet the pot of 160,000, but then Liu raised him to 320,000. Shovkovyi quickly got out of the way while Compton moved all in for just 65,000 more, which Liu called.

Compton was in the lead with his king-jack, but the turn A♠ shifted the tide in Liu's favor as he made a superior two pair. The river was the 2♣ and Liu was awarded the pot while Compton was eliminated in 8th place.

Nan Liu limped under-the-gun with K♠10♦6♠6♦ and the action folded to Karim Bevans in the big blind who raised the pot to 100,000 with A♠A♦K♥Q♦. Liu decided to defend his limp and the two players went to the flop of 9♦4♦3♦.

Both players made a flush, but Bevans held the nuts and down-bet to 40,000, which Liu called.

A fourth diamond came on the turn 7♦ and both players decided to check, which may have been Bevan's downfall as the river smacks down the 8♦ to give Liu a straight flush!

Thinking he still has the best hand, Bevans led out for 215,000 but then Liu popped it to 530,000. Bevans thought about it for a second before he moved all.

"Snap-call, straight flush," Liu announced as he showed him the bad news.

"GAHHH D**N!!" Bevans jumped up and shook his head at his bad luck.

He then watched as all of his chips were shipped over to Liu and he was eliminated in 7th place.

For the second time in a row, Jake White moved all in and Joshua Barney made the call to put him at risk.

Barney had the lead with his superior holding, but the flop of 9♦2♦Q♣ gave White the lead with his deuce. The runout of 9♥5♣ changed nothing and White doubled up while Barney was left with less than one big blind.

Crazily enough, Barney then got it in with A♠A♦10♥4♣ the next hand and managed to triple up but then fell when he ran 10♦10♣9♥4♠ into the A♥K♣9♣5♣ of Liu.

Both an ace and a king appeared on the flop to give Liu a big lead and Barney failed to improve on the runout, eliminating him in 6th place.

Masters was ahead with his pair, but unfortunately for him, the flop of 6♦6♠7♥ gave Shovkovyi a better pair of sevens and the runout of 4♠5♣ further improved him to a straight to eliminate Masters in 5th place.

Unfortunately for Feng, the board completely bricked out with 6♦8♦ and he was eliminated in 3rd place while Shovkovyi was shipped yet another pot.

Liu had the lead with his pair and flush draw, but Shovkovyi had plenty of outs with his wrap.

Sure enough, the turn 10♥ gave him the straight and the river was the brick 4♦ to win him the pot while Liu was eliminated as the tournament's runner-up.
