Brian Winter Eliminated in 5th Place ($7,015)

Nivel 25 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Bounty Pulls
Bounty Pulls

Hand #49

Brian Winter moved all in under-the-gun for 990,000 with A♥10♦ and was called by Kassim Panjwani in the cutoff with A♠J♠ to put him at risk.

Winter would need some help to stay alive in this spot, but the flop of 8♠J♣5♦ made it all the more tougher as Panjwani made top pair of jacks. Winter was given some hope on the turn 10♣, but the river could not provide as it came the blank 4♦ and he was eliminated in 5th place in his second final-table appearance of this series.

Tokko Forces Fold from Panjwani

Nivel 24 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Hand #32

Moe Tokko opened the cutoff to 200,000 with A♣5♦ and Kassim Panjwani defended from the small blind with 5♥5♣.

On the flop of 6♠2♣2♦, Panjwani checked, Tokko bet 250,000, and then Panjwani check-raised to 600,000.

After some thought, Tokko then decided to re-raise to 1,550,000 and Panjwani promptly tossed in the winning hand to award the pot to Tokko.

Jonathan Park Eliminated in 6th Place ($5,700)

Nivel 24 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Hand #26

Vladyslav Shovkovyi opened to 160,000 from the hijack with Q♦J♠ and then Jonathan Park moved all in for 640,000 from the big blind with A♦10♠.

Shovkovyi didn't take too much time to make the call and they were off to the races, Park's tournament life on the line.

The flop of 4♥10♣6♠ was good for Park as he made top pair, but the turn Q♥ was not his friend as Shovkovyi jumped into the lead with a pair of queens. Only an ace or a ten on the river would save Park, but tit was the brick 9♦ and he was sent out in 6th place.

Hand #21

Vladyslav Shovkovyi opened to 200,000 with A♠K♦ and was three-bet to 600,000 by Kassim Panjwani with A♣Q♥. When the action folded back to Shovkovyi, he responded by four-betting to 1,600,000.

Not one to be pushed around, Panjwani ripped it all in to cover Shovkovyi, who quickly called to put himself at risk in a chip-lead pot.

Shovkovyi was in a prime position to double up with his superior ace, and the runout of 9♣2♦A♥5♥5♦ gave him the claim to the huge pot and the chip lead.

Aleta Chapman Eliminated in 7th Place ($4,740)

Nivel 23 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Aleta Chapman

Hand #14

After a preflop betting war, all of the chips between Aleta Chapman, Brian Winter, and Kassim Panjwani found their way into the middle, with Panjwani covering.

Aleta Chapman: 8♥8♦
Brian Winter: K♣J♦
Kassim Panjwani: A♦10♥

Chapman was in the lead with her eights, but she had a lot of over-cards to dodge if she was to stay in the game.

Sure enough, the flop of 10♦5♦K♠ gave both of her opponents a pair, with Winter on the better end of it. The turn K♦ further improved him to trips and left Chapman drawing dead, but it also gave Panjwani a flush draw.

Luckily for Winter, the river was the brick 3♥ and he was awarded the pot while Chapman exited in 7th.

Trung Pham

Hand #9

After a preflop betting war, Trung Pham got it all in for his last 600,000 with A♥K♥ and was called by Moe Tokko with Q♠Q♦ to put him at risk.

Tokko was ahead going into the flip, and the runout of 8♠4♦2♦8♥6♣ meant the queens held true to eliminate Pham in 8th place.
