Still Six Handed; News in Brief

Nivel 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
  • Vojtech Ruzicka opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Timothy Reilly defended his big blind. The {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board was checked all the way down. Reilly opened {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} but lost out to Ruzick'a {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
  • Bryn Kenney shoved all in for 380,000 and took the blinds and antes.
  • Steven Silverman three-bet all in after Ruzicka opened to 60,000. The 312,000 moved got through.
  • Alexandre Reard and Martin Jacobson and picked up their duel where they left it yesterday. Jacobson successfully three-bet Reard off a hand before the latter gained a small revenge. Reard called a Jacobson raise and a c-bet. He then lead the river when both players checked the turn. The board read {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Jacobson snap folded.

Ruzicka Three-Bets Reilly

Nivel 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Timothy Reilly has really come out of the blocks with all guns blazing and is by far the most active player since the tournament resumed.

Just now, he opened from the small blind to 50,000 only to see Vojtech Ruzicka fiddle with some chips and raise to 130,000. Ruzicka had to verbally announce his bet size because he struggled to move the required chips forward in one fell swoop.

Reilly was deep in thought for 30-40 seconds, but he ultimately sent his cards back into the muck.

Silverman Shoves

Nivel 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Steven Silverman is down to 15 big blinds and has, correctly, reverted to pushing all-in or folding when it his turn to act.

The action passed to Silverman on the button, he took a peak at his cards, sat back slightly in his seat and announced he was all in. Alexandre Reard in the small blind and Timothy Reilly in the big blind both folded instantly.

Sweden's Martin Jacobson is the man to catch when the tournament restarts, his stack containing almost 250,000 more chips than his nearest rival Vojtech Ruzicka. However, it is far from a foregone conclusion because this really is anyone's tournament to win.
