Felipe Carrico opened on the button to 3,200 and Chris Bolek called out of the big blind. The flop came 
and both players checked.
The turn was the 
and Bolek checked to Carrico who bet 4,500. Bolek took a few moments and then put out a check-raise to 11,600. Carrico folded and Bolek dragged the pot. After being down to as low as 4,200 today, Bolek is sitting with a much more comfortable stack of 77,800.
Scott Seiver opened with an early positioned raise only to have Christopher Lockhart three-bet to 8,800 from the next seat over. Action folded to the player on the button who called the raise. The small blind folded and Andrey Shatilov four-bet all in from the big blind for his last 28,900. Seiver folded, Lockhart moved all in over the top, and the button let his hand go.

The board ran out 
, giving Lockhart a full house of kings full of deuces for the win. Shatilov made his exit from the tournament area and Lockhart increased his stack to about 310,000.
Scott Seiver checked from under the gun to David Eldridge, who shoved all in with the board reading 
. Seiver clenched his fist, making it clear that wasn't what he wanted to see. The count was 38,900, and Seiver double-checked his cards as he muttered to himself.
"They never change," he said ruefully.
After another minute or so of thought, he flicked his cards to the dealer.
The completed board read 
with Steve Brecher and Alex Millar heads up in the hand. Brecher checked the river and the Day 1a chip leader moved all in for his last 14,000. Brecher flicked out a call and Millar turned over for a full house of queens full of fives. Brecher mucked his cards and Millar lived to see another day.
Millar is now sitting on about 75,000 while Brecher's stack has dropped to 154,000.
