Fisher Eliminated By Sauvageau

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Walter Fisher
Walter Fisher

With the board reading {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}, Walter Fisher got his stack of about 195,000 into the middle with {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, drawing thin against the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} held by Josue Sauvageau.

The {4-Diamonds} turn gave Fisher a few outs to survive, but the {2-Clubs} river locked up the pot for Sauvageau.

Linde Doubles Through Ronaldo

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dylan Linde moved all in for 130,000 from the hijack with the {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Ronaldo called from the cutoff with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Once again the worst hand came from behind at the feature table as the board rolled out {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{K-Spades}, keeping Linde alive.

Pastor Keeping Up the Pace

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The Argentinian is more of a cash game player than a tourney guy, and more likely to be found online than at live events, although he has collected several cashes and a Main Event final table finish on the Latin American Poker Tour over the last couple of years. When Pastor achieved Supernova Elite on the next-to-last day of 2014, he invited friends to share in the celebration. See the raucous video and learn a little more about the rising star at the PokerStars Blog.

Srinivasan Goes to Value Town

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

With 100,000 in the pot and a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Uwe Ritter led out for 38,000 and would get called by Shyam Srinivasan. Both players would check the {10-Diamonds} turn and Ritter would check when the {J-Spades} was dealt on the river.

Srinivasan put out a bet of 110,000 and Ritter would make the call. He would immediately muck his hand after seeing that Srinivasan had {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for a queen high straight.

Small One for Hawkins

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Maurice Hawkins
Maurice Hawkins

Carter Swidler defended his big blind from a cutoff open from Maurice Hawkins, and he check-called 30,000 on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. Both players checked the {8-Spades} turn, and Swidler bet about 50,000 on the {9-Clubs} river. Hawkins called, and his {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} was good.

Fisher Doubles Through Cakmak

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Walter Fisher raises all in for 161,000 from early position and Emrah Cakmak called from the hijack.

Fisher: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Cakmak: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}, scary but safe to Fisher to score the double up.

Shorr Eliminated

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Andreas Samuelsson opened to 25,000 from the cutoff and Shannon Shorr moved all in for 168,000 total from the small blind. Samuelsson would eventually make the call with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Shorr was in great shape to double up with {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

The flop changed that quickly though as it came {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Shorr, the consummate pro, sat there showing no emotion at the unfortunate turn of events. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and the river the {7-Hearts} and Shorr said a quiet "good luck" to the table as he left the table.
