Kuo was in good shape on the 2♠10♣4♣ flop but Pilhofer drilled a 9♦ on the turn to make a set. Kuo couldn't find a queen on the 8♥ river and she was left with 1,500 chips.
A few hands later she was forced all in for the big blind. Sylwester Fortuna opened to 2,000 under the gun, Pilhofer called from early position. Yi Ang Lin called on the button and Fintan Hand completed in the small blind.
He checked the 8♥4♦Q♣ flop to Fortuna who bet 2,500. Pilhofer called as did Fortuna. Lin folded and Hand called.
The 9♥ turn was checked around. Hand checked again as did Fortuna. Pilhofer bet 5,500 on the J♣ river which gained quick folds from the remaining players.
He tabled Q♠10♠ for a straight. Kuo showed J♠6♦ before heading to the rail.
