Luka Sorainen was in the big blind and had a tower of chips in front of him for a bet of 72,000 before Ahmed Karrim reraised to 145,000 on the button. Sorainen called and they went heads up to the J♣6♦4♠ flop.
Karrim continued for 65,000 and Sorainen again called. Both players then checked the K♠ turn. Sorainen also checked the 5♠ river, and Karrim peeked over at his opponent's stack before checking behind.
Sorainen turned over Q♠Q♦ and Karrim surrendered the big pot.
Jack Kiriakus limped in from early position and Alexander Seibt shoved 54,000 from the hijack. Once the action got back to Kiriakus, he made the call which put Seibt at risk.

Seibt was in a great position to double up and his situation improved on the 5♠6♠J♦ flop as he picked up a flush draw, which removed one of Kiriakus' outs. Neither the 3♥ turn nor 6♦ river changed anything, which kept Seibt alive in the Main Event.
Preben Stokkan on the button shoved all in for 100,000 over an open-raise of Shakhabiddin Muradov in middle position. The action folded back to Muradov, who quickly called.

The last queen in the deck fell on the 6♣Q♠K♥ flop, and Stokkan was drawing dead after the 8♣ turn. The 4♥ river did not matter anymore, and Stokkan left the tournament to enjoy an early dinner.
Aleksei Savenkov raised from an early position to 13,000 and Claudio Gordon moved all in for 99,000 from the hijack. Savenkov made the call to cover Gordons stack, and the players flipped their hands.

Gordon stood from the table after seeing Savenkov's hand and grabbed his bag, preparing himself to leave the tournament. His opponent said "Sit down," but Gordon said "It's my lucky thing," and remained standing to watch the runout.
The 4♦8♦2♣ flop prompted Gordon to ask for a "Three at least, to sweat," after Savenkov had flopped the set.
The Q♦ fell on the turn and Gordon walked away from the table saying "GG guys, good luck," after seeing he was drawing dead.
The dealer placed the 6♠ and Savenkov pulled the pot, getting a significant chip up.
Jeff Kirsch was all in preflop with a short stack against Christian Sare, who had him covered as players flipped their cards.

The board ran out 5♠A♦10♦5♦5♣ and Sare made a full house to win the pot, eliminating Kirsch from the tournament.
With around 130,000 in the pot on a board of 5♣3♦Q♥9♣, Hannes Jeschka bet 40,000 from the button, Yuan Li raised to 85,000 in the small blind, and Jeschka called.
The river was the 4♣ and Li moved all in for 98,000. Jeschka burned through multiple time banks and eventually called with Q♠J♥ for top pair, but Li had 5♠5♦ for a set to double up.
Steven Watts opened to 13,000 from early position and Rafael Rojano Ramos defended from the big blind.
A flop of 2♦8♣3♣ saw Ramos check-call a bet of 15,000 from Watts.
The K♥ turn was checked through to the 9♣ river where Ramos checked, Watts bet 20,000, and Ramos called.
Watts showed A♥A♣ for a pair of aces, which was good for the pot.
Griffin Benger raised to 12,000 from under the gun, Jakub Piwowarski called in late position, and Bo Jin moved all in from the big blind. Benger called for around 95,000 and Piwowarski folded. Benger was at risk as players turned their cards.
