Cohen Doubles, Switches Up Celebration

Nivel 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Timo Kamphues raised from the hijack to 25,000 and Lucien Cohen again shoved for 86,000 from the small blind. When it got back to Kamphues, he called.

Lucien Cohen: 99 All in
Timo Kamphues: AJ

Cohen found himself in another all-in situation, and he managed to survive again as the 461052 runout kept his pocket nines in the lead.

The only thing different about this Cohen victory was the celebration, as his famous "ratman" quote wasn't used; instead he opted for a more French approach.

"Allez! Alllleezzzzzzzzz!" shouted Cohen.

Ace! King! Cohen and Hu Both Shout For Cards

Nivel 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Lucien Cohen
Lucien Cohen

Lucien Cohen moved all in for 180,000 in the cutoff and Zhewen Hu called in the big blind.

Lucien Cohen: AQ All in
Zhewen Hu: KK

Hu had woken up with kings to leave Cohen at risk of elimination. "Ace," Cohen yelled out heading to the flop, which came QJ7. "Ace or queen," he shouted, and he got his wish when the A fell on the turn to give him two pair.

"King," Hu cried as he pleaded for help. The dealer obliged by turning over the K on the river to give him a set and send the Ratman to the rail.

"Bravo, my friend. It's good," Cohen, in the gentlest voice he's had so far this level, told Hu as he reached across the table to shake his opponent's hand before heading for the exit.

Dogan Secures a Double Against Tamm

Nivel 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Deniz Dogan
Deniz Dogan

On a board of 49106, Deniz Dogan got the last of his chips in the middle with Taago Tamm looking to thin down the field.

Deniz Dogan: QQ All in
Taago Tamm: 98

Dogan had the best of it right now, but Tamm had his fair share of outs as any seven. eight, or nine would see the Estonian scoop the pot and eliminate Dogan. Instead, the 3 dropped on the river and Dogan screamed "Yesss!" as he scooped in the pot worth around 300,000.

Ranno Sootla opened to 24,000 in early position and received calls from Adrien Quetelart on the button, and Ivan Zabiiakin and Anton Kraous in the blinds.

On the KJ9 flop, action was checked to Sootla, who continued with a bet of 27,000, which only Kraous called.

On the 3 turn, Kraous check-jammed for 272,000 over a bet of 95,000 from Sootla. Sootla didn't like it, and burned through all of his remaining three time banks, before making the call.

Mustafov’s Bluff Falls Flat as Zhugralin Hits Seven Heaven

Nivel 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Damir Zhugralin
Damir Zhugralin

Damir Zhugralin kicked things off with a raise to 24,000 from the hijack, and Fahredin Mustafov called from the big blind.

On the 9107 flop, Mustafov led out with a bet of 15,000, but Zhugralin raised it to 60,000, prompting a call from Mustafov.

After Mustafov checked the 5 turn, Zhugralin made a bet of 96,000. Mustafov wasn't done yet and raised to 350,000, which Zhugralin called after using his entire time.

The 4 landed on the river, and Mustafov took his time, burning through two time bank cards before going all in, covering Zhugralin. Now it was Zhugralin's turn to decide if he wanted to risk his tournament life. As the dealer turned to him, he tossed in his last three time bank cards and said, "Tell me if I'm almost out of time."

After a couple more tense moments and two time bank cards later, he finally flicked a chip forward, signaling a call, and it was time for a showdown.

Mustafov revealed QJ for a missed straight draw, effectively turning his hand into a bluff. That sent Zhugralin leaping from his chair, screaming as he revealed his set of sevens with 77. He doubled up and found himself among the top stacks.
