Heads-up to a flop of J♠9♣3♣, Mikhail Shalamov bet 110,000 from the big blind and Ivan Zabiiakin called in the small blind.

The turn was the K♥ and Shalamov bet another 275,000. Zabiiakin again called and the 5♣ fell on the river. Shalamov then moved all in and Zabiiakin called for his last 1,000,000.

Shalamov turned over 8♣6♣ for a rivered flush and Zabiiakin tossed K♦J♦ into the muck on his way to the exit while the massive pot was pushed to the new tournament chip leader.

Adrien Quetelart moved all in, second to act, for 145,000. Timo Kamphues and Anton Kraous called from the hijack and small blind.

Kraous check-called bets of 65,000 and 145,000 on the flop and turn before the river checked through to showdown.

On the K♣7♠5♠9♥A♦ board, Quetelart tabled A♠4♥ for a pair of aces, besting Kamphues' K♦Q♦ and Kroaus' 10x10x. Kamphues took the side pot with a pair of kings.

On the next deal, Quetelart opened to 50,000 from under the gun, and Kraous called from the button. Quetelart fired out bets of 40,000 and 140,000 on the flop and turn and was called both times for the final board to read K♥5♣3♠8♦8♥. Both players checked it through to showdown.

Quetelart had J♠J♣ but was beaten by K♦6♦, to go back to being a short stack.

Daniel Jackson limped in for 25,000 from the button and Marta Miquel Munoz made it 75,000 to go in the small blind. Arian Kashani called from the big blind, then Jackson made it 365,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Munoz then shoved, Kashani folded, and Jackson called off his last chip.

Once the dealer did get the go-ahead, there was no improvement for Jackson as the runout of 6♦8♣2♠2♣9♠ kept the pocket queens of Munoz in the lead.

Lijo snap called and a showdown was ordered.

Lijo took an even more commanding lead on the 8♥K♠9♣ flop, and his set had Mhiri's jacks drawing dead on the 3♠ turn. The 8♣ river was rendered meaningless as Lijo doubled up and overtook Mhiri in the counts.
