Nicola Cappellesso shoved from the cutoff for around 200,000 and Lander Lijo snap-called from the big blind .
Nicola Cappellesso: K♠J♣
Lander Lijo: A♠Q♥
Cappellesso was only just behind, but fell further into the hole on the Q♣7♥8♣ flop as Lijo paired his queen. The 8♦ dropped on the turn, and the 7♦ sealed Cappellesso's fate as one of the first bustouts of Day 4.
Darius Gadeikis was down to 165,000, which he got in from the small blind against Anton Wigg on the button.
Darius Gadeikis: 8♠8♣
Anton Wigg: Q♣9♠
The K♥7♠A♣ flop did not help Wigg, although the A♠ turn brought some counterfeit outs. The Q♠ gave Wigg a higher two pair than his opponent, sending Gadeikis home during the early stages of Day 4.
Zhewen Hu moved all in for 145,000 in the small blind and Taago Tamm called in the big blind.
Zhewen Hu: K♣Q♦
Taago Tamm: 10♠9♠
Hu was ahead going to the flop, which came A♥K♥8♦ to give him a pair of kings and an even bigger lead. The turn was the 6♦ as Tamm picked up a straight draw, and he completed his straight on the 7♥ river.
"Wow," Hu said, taking the beat in stride as he made his way to the exit.
Bobby James raised to 30,000 in middle position with Q♣10♦. Daniel Jackson called on the button with 6♠6♥ before Dick Postel defended A♣2♦ in the big blind.
The flop fell J♠7♥6♣. Postel checked and Jams placed a bet of 45,000. Jackson just called with his set before Postel got out of the way. James upped the ante to 145,000 on the K♣ turn, which Jackson called once again.
James completed his triple barrel on the 2♥ river, betting 215,000. This time, Jackson sprung the trap and raised to 725,000. James quickly folded his queen-high, seeing Jackson nearing him in the counts.
Christopher Nguyen opened to 30,000 second to act before Boris Tabiyev three-bet to 80,000 from the button. Eleftherios Sinnos four-bet to 255,000 from the big blind and folded out both players.
On the next deal, Nguyen made it 30,000 once more, prompting Tabiyev to bump it to 80,000 for a consecutive hand. Guillermo Gordo cold-called from the big blind, and Nguyen stuck around.
Tabiyev continued for 85,000 on the J♥9♠6♠ flop and Nguyen was the only caller. The J♣ came in on the turn and Nguyen led out for 300,000. Tabiyev quickly raised to 850,000, leaving 70,000 behind, Nguyen jammed as the slightly bigger stack and Tabiyev snap-called.
Boris Tabiyev: 9♣9♦
Christopher Nguyen: K♣J♠
Nguyen turned trip jacks but remained behind as Tabiyev saw his set improve to a full house. The 7♣ river confirmed the checkmark for Tabiyev and he left Nguyen on fumes in the early goings.
Daniel Jackson saw Q♦Q♣ in the cutoff and raised to 30,000. Yisha Chen called with K♠9♣ in the big blind, after which a 10♣3♣6♣ flop was dealt. Chen checked to Jackson, who continued for 15,000.
Chen called and also check-called when Jackson placed 40,000 on the 9♠ turn. The 6♦ river completed the board, where Jackson bet 145,000. Chen spent two time banks but eventually correctly check-folded her pair of nines.
With around 100,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of 4♦4♣A♥, Radoslav Stoyanov fired 30,000, and Chakib Mhiri called.
Both then checked the J♥ turn to the 7♣ river where Stoyanov bet 40,000. Mhiri wasted no time in making a raise to 110,000, which gave Stoyanov a tough decision. With only around 250,000 remaining in his stack, Stoyanov used two time-bank cards before he finally elected to fold.
