PokerNews arrived at the table to find Nikolai Mamut already all in for 27,000, while Stefan Peukert had raised to 54,000. Michael Gehrmann then moved all in for approximately 170,000, putting the pressure back on Peukert. After deliberating, Peukert folded, claiming he held pocket tens, leaving Mamut and Gehrmann to battle it out.

Gehrmann was looking for help from the board, but it didn’t come. The dealer revealed 36563, keeping Mamut’s pocket nines in front and allowing him to triple his stack.

Victor-Dan Angelescu raised in early position to 4,000. Keith Johnson called on the button and Boris Berthomet called in the big blind.

Action checked to Angelescu who continued for 5,000 on AJ7 and got two calls. All players checked when the 4 hit the turn.

Berthomet decided to lead when the 2 fell on the river and Angelescu quickly folded. Johnson called after a short period and got shown A9 then mucked his hand.

Sitbon Shoves the Turn

Ryoji Kusumoto raised in early position to 4,000, Julien Sitbon in middle position called and the big blind Karim Maekelberg also called.

Action checked to Kusumoto who continued betting on 84K for 4,000, Sitbon called and Maekelberg folded.

With around 24,000 in the pot, Kusumoto fired out another bet of 18,000 when the Q fell on the turn, but was met by a shove from Sitbon for 47,500. Kusumoto quickly tapped the table and announced "nice hand" before mucking his cards.

There were already several raises and reraises in the middle as Amirouche Zekhmi moved all in for around 75,000. Oleh Okhotskyi took him up and had the bigger stack when the cards were turned.

Okhotskyi stayed ahead with his aces on the 2Q4 flop and 2 turn, but the river came the K to give Zekhmi a set of kings. He won the pot, doubling his stack and taking most of Okhotskyi's stack.

Just Kings for Schuh as Joyce Hits Rail

Michal Schuh opened the action with a raise to 3,000 from late position and Dan Wagner three-bet to 15,500 from the small blind. Philip Joyce then moved all in from the big blind for 26,500. Schuh paused for a moment before pushing all in over the top, putting Wagner to the test for his entire stack. Wagner opted to fold, leaving two players to flip their cards, with Joyce at risk.

"Aces?" asked Joyce, as he stood up behind his chair.

"No aces," said Schuh, "just kings..."

Golczyk Wins Main and Side Pots With King-High

Arian Hassankashani open-raised to 3,500 from early position and Abdulkadir Ahmed three-bet to 9,000 from the next seat across. Lukasz Golczyk called in late position for his last 6,000 and Hassankashani also called.

The flop came 823 and Hassankashani glanced across at his opponent as he checked. Ahmed continued for 5,000 and Hassankashani called.

The turn was the 4 and Hassankashani checked. Ahmed sized up to 16,000 and Hassankashani folded.

Ahmed took the side pot, then went to showdown against Golczyk. Ahmed flipped over KQ, while Golczyk had KJ, both players showing king high. Golczyk shouted out for a jack, but the river came the 6 and Ahmed held to win the main pot, too.
