Ioannis Polintas was all in from middle position for around 20,000 and was called by Pavel Plesuv in the big blind, who had him covered as players turned their cards.

Polintas was badly behind, but the board came 8578Q. The river gave Polintas a full house, queens full of eights. He won the pot, cracking Plesuv's kings and doubling his stack.

Players at the table joked that they had been sitting here for hours waiting for a spot, while Polintas had only just entered the tournament when he won the pot.

Calo Attempts to Bluff Petrenko

Flush on the River Saves Arduini

With 8,500 already in the pot, the flop read Q9K when Lorenzo Arduini, sitting in the big blind, checked to Martin Nielsen. Nielsen placed a bet, only to face a shove from Arduini for 21,500. Nielsen snap-called, and the cards were turned over.

The flop came J92 and Piik checked. Stralek bet 6,000 and Piik check-raised to 17,000. Stralek called and the hand went to the turn, which was the 6. Piik opted to lead for 12,000 and Stralek called.

The river was the 6 and Piik slowed down with a check. Stralek took a moment and then pushed his stack into the middle. Piik folded to the all-in and Stralek scooped in the pot.

Flush Draw Falls Short for Ivarsson

Alexander Ivarsson opened the action with a raise to 2,400 from early position, only to face a three-bet to 6,500 from Daniel Radakovic. After some thought, Ivarsson made the call, setting up a significant pot.

The flop came A83, and Ivarsson checked to Radakovic, who continued for 3,500. Ivarsson called without hesitation.

On the 2 turn, Ivarsson checked again, and Radakovic ramped up the pressure with a bet of 8,500. Ivarsson took his time before announcing an all-in shove for roughly 30,000. Radakovic snap-called, flipping over AK for top pair, while Ivarsson revealed K10, chasing a flush draw.

The river 2 didn’t bring the needed club, sending Ivarsson to the rail while Radakovic stacked a healthy pot to bolster his stack.
