Mukhamedaminov Takes From Tsouloftas

Timur Mukhamedaminov raised to 3,000 from the hijack with Georgios Tsouloftas and Grzegorz Kozieja calling from the blinds.

The 44J flop was checked to Mukhamedaminov, who fired out a bet of 4,500. Tsouloftas check-raised to 11,000 from the small blind, which only Mukhamedaminov called.

The A landed on the turn and Tsouloftas started out with a check. Mukhamedaminov now took back the betting lead by firing out 16,500, Tsouloftas folded his cards and Mukhamedaminov was kind enough to show the A for top pair.

Malinov Folds to Helou's Pressure

Malinov checked again when the A landed on the turn. Helou fired again, this time for 10,000. Malinov was quick to fold and forfeit the pot to Helou.

Haidar Flops a Set to Double

Safi Haidar three-bet shoved his 35,000 into the middle preflop over an Emmanoui Fountoulakis open. Fountoulakis called to try and send Haidar to the rail.

After realizing he was dominated and likely to be exiting the tournament, Haidar stood up from his chair. However, he was quick to sit back down when the flop came out 938 to give him a set. The rest of the board ran out 96 and Haidar doubled up.

Batyrkhanov Catches Karam Bluffing

With close to 70,000 already in the middle, the board showed A8102. Meir Batyrkhanov checked from the big blind and then faced a bet of 30,000 from Hala Karam out of the under the gun position. Batyrkhanov made the call.

The river came the board-pairing 2 and Batyrkhanov checked. Karam threw in 60,000 and Batyrkhanov let out a huge sigh. Not long after, he made the call and Karam showed a bluff with 65. Batyrkhanov took down the pot with AQ for a pair of aces.

After the hand, Batyrkhanov said to Karam "I almost folded".

Losev Spikes the Turn to Win the Pot

Alexey Losev raised to 2,500 from early position with Stefan Bittger three-betting to 7,000 from middle position. Losev tossed in the call when it folded back to him.

Losev checked the 279 flop and Bittger slid out a continuation-bet of 2,500. Losev flicked in the call.

Both players were happy to check the 5 turn and 7 river to showdown. Losev turned over A5 for a turned pair of fives. It was enough to take down the pot as Bittger mucked his cards.

Themistokleous' Double Barrel Earns Him the Pot

When it folded to Themistoklis Themistokleous on the button, he raised to 2,500 with only Dumitru Pora defending out of the big blind.

The flop came down 424 and Pora check-called a bet of 1,800 from Themistokleous.

When the 10 landed on the turn and Pora checked for a second time, Themistokleous fired a second barrel of 5,600. Pora wasted no time in folding, and forfeited the pot to Themistokleous.
