The third and final starting flight of the 2024 PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) $5,300 Main Event has concluded here at Resort's World Las Vegas. Day 1c attracted 104 entrants and after ten 30-minute levels 51 players managed to find a bag and advance to tomorrow's Day 2.
Daniel Perrier of Canada finished with the Day 1c chip lead after bagging 154,000, a stack worth 103 big blinds going into Day 2. Perrier is most closely followed by popular Japanese poker vlogger Masato Yokosawa who bagged 142,000 while Andrew Moreno rounds out the top three with 138,000.

Other big stacks at the end of the night include Jim Collopy (119,000), Chance Kornuth (105,000), Elias Gutierrez (93,500) and Joe Serock (89,000). Further down the counts are Steven Jones (77,500), Eric Molina (77,500), David Dongwoo Ko (53,500), Aram Zobian (43,000), Mike Holtz (38,500) and Phil Laak (35,000). Brian Kim (29,500), John Riordan (16,500) and Calvin Anderson (15,500) also return tomorrow as short stacks.
Among the notables who were unable to find a bag in today's starting flight were Danny Wong, Cherish Andrews, Michael Wang, Bradley Anderson and Sean Jazayeri. They will all have another chance tomorrow as late registration remains open until Day 2 begins at noon local time.
So far the Main Event have attracted 836 entrants, bringing the prize pool to just over $4,000,000. Tomorrow's Day 2 will see the fields combine, with 287 survivors from the first three starting flights. The action will resume on Level 11, featuring blinds at 1,000/1,500 and a 1,500 big blind ante. Levels will be 90 minutes and the money bubble is expected to burst late in the day.

Lawrence Greenberg opened to 2,500 from the button and Chance Kornuth defended from the big blind.
The flop came J♣9♠5♥ and Kornuth check-called a 3,000 bet from Greenberg.
Kornuth checked again on the 6♠ turn and Greenberg bet 5,000. Kornuth check-raised to 12,000 and Greenberg moved all in for around 50,000. Kornuth opted to fold and Greenberg took the pot without showdown.
