D'Agostino Makes Tough Call to Eliminate Tambolla
Nivel 26
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Arriving on the 6♦2♣K♥5♣ turn with around 260,000 in the middle, Vincenzo D'Agostino checked from the small blind to Axel Tambolla in middle position.
Tambolla tossed in his stack of 215,000, which D'Agostino called after one time extension.
Axel Tambolla: 10♠10♦
Vincenzo D'Agostino: J♦J♣
D'Agostino had the higher pocket pair, holding a big lead. The A♥ river did not bring Tambolla his desired ten, knocking him out of the tournament.
