Stanford Spikes the Turn to Score a KO
Nivel 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Cody Stanford opened the cutoff to 12,000 and was called by the small blind and the big blind.
On the Q♠J♣9♠ flop, the small blind led all-in for 44,000 before the big blind swiftly folded. Stanford confirmed the count before he decided to stick in the call.
Small Blind: Q♣J♠
Cody Stanford: 7♠4♠
The small blind was ahead with top two but Stanford had a flush draw. It took no waiting as the 5♠ hit the turn and the small blind failed to fill up on the 7♥ river as Stanford delivered the knockout, much unlike the efforts of Mike Tyson this evening.
