Leading the way is a man who has seen quite a bit of success this week here at Jamul. Francisco Anzar sits with the sizable bag of 833,000. Anzar began his week by cashing in the Ambassadors Bounty, he then followed it up by winning his first RGPS ring in the Deepstack Event, taking home a career best score of $6,891. On Wednesday, the RunGood Poker Series held its second biggest tournament of the stop, materializing into Event #4: $250 Deepstack. A staple of any RunGood stop, this tournament held the second biggest prize pool guarantee, worth $25k.
A total of 186 entrants came out over the course of the first two flights, to beat the guarantee and leave the prize pool sitting at $37,200. Only 24 players saw any piece of that prize pool.
It was a five-way deal that would see Francisco Anzar take hom his first ring and a career best score of $6,891. Anzar had collected his first RG cash earlier this week, and has now quadrupled his life-time earnings while adding a piece of jewelry to his collection.
