A RunGood Poker Series staple is the Ambassador Bounty, which drew out the largest crowd yet at Jamul Casino in San Diego, California. A grand total of 162 entrants came out to play this event, besting the prize pool guarantee and seeing a total of 21 players secure a piece of the $25,920 prize pool.

The ambassadors were put forth by both the Rungood included Jonathan Gavaio, Corey Paggeot, Conrad Simpson, Jamie Kerstetter, and Scott Stewart. Players would receive multiple prizes with the elimination of these players, ranging all the way up to $1,000 in cash.

At the conclusion of the tournament it would be Richard Yoshinaga making his third cash with the RunGood Poker Series his biggest lifetime score. Yoshinaga had earlier knocked out one of the casino ambassadors (Liam Gannon), and he propelled himself into the final table chip lead before claiming his first RG ring and a new high score of $6,892.

Flashback: Brian Craig Wins First RGPS Main Event Of 2025

Nivel 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Brian Craig
Brian Craig

Last month in Tulsa, a total of 517 entrants blew the initial guarantee out of the water as 63 players saw a piece of the $361,900 prize pool in the 2025 RGPS Mission RunGood Tulsa Main Event.

Brian Craig came into the day sitting 15th place in chips and maintained a steady stack throughout the tournament. As the day continued, he found himself coming into the final table with the chip lead and after a couple of hours of play, he found himself sitting atop the counts as the last player standing.

“The money is great,” he said when asked about which part of winning sounds most appealing. The Kansas resident had been a regular on the RGPS circuit for some time, final tabling a $400 Deepstack Event at Council Bluffs just over a year ago. He sat with $75,789 in lifetime earnings before the start of day and nearly doubled it with this finish.

He also becomes the first player of the 2025 RGPS to win a free seat to the $300 Dream Seat Invitational which will occur in November of 2025.
