Nia Spikes a Set

Nivel 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Michael Nia opened from under the gun to 32,000 with 22 and Adam Weinraub called with Q9 in the cutoff. Faraz Jaka defended his big blind with A6 and the JQ8 was fanned out.

Jaka checked to Nia, who announced a bet of 32,000. Weinraub called while Jaka got out of the way.

Nia then checked after hitting a set on the 2 turn and Weinraub checked behind.

The 9 river saw Nia bet 25,000, with Weinraub tossing in the call after making two pair. Nia raked in the pot, adding once again to his sizeable chip lead.

Weinraub checked the 79A flop, with Jaka tossing out a bet of 27,000. The call was made and the 2 turn was flipped over. Both players checked to the 2 river, with Weinraub leading out for 35,000.

Jaka did not take long to muck his hand, as Weinraub picked up another pot.

Kasabyan Takes a Small Pot
