Another late entrant sent his chips over to Alan Jung when A♥9♣ failed to hold up versus K♥10♥ on a board of 5♦3♦3♣8♦10♣ to reduce the field further. Only 21 players are left of which 13 will advance.
Toran Tate was all-in with a short stack and showed the J♣9♠. He was called by Jaryd Jardien with the Q♠8♠ and a roller coaster runout unfolded.
Tate took the lead with the 9♦6♥2♣ flop. Jardien gained the lead with the Q♥ turn but the 9♥ river saved Tate.

Marko Nortje looked up the all-in of Kiran Moodley on the Q♥5♣4♦ flop and instantly said "you are ahead" as he exposed his A♦4♣. Moodley had the Q♦J♦ and that held on the 8♦ turn as well as 9♣ river.
Down to around 50,000, Nortje vanished soon after from the Day 1b field.
Jaco Mouton raised to 15,000 and Renier Britz called. KM then jammed for the last 52,000 from the big blind, which he had previously declared to the table already. Both opponents called and checked down the K♣J♦2♥7♦9♠ board.
Mouton showed A♦Q♦ and Britz had the equally strong A♣Q♥. "Give them my chips, I have ten four," KM said on his way out and the dealer flashed the 10♥4♣ indeed.
Only 27 players remain and the last two casualties were Ronit Chamani as well as Stefan Bittger. Km has been sticking around with a blind all-in shove mode that hasn't been called yet.
Jaco Mouton check-jammed the J♦5♦4♥2♥ turn when KM bet 25,000 and the latter called with the words "I hope you are flushing".
Mouton revealed 4♦4♣ for a set and KM's J♣9♣ were drawing dead to the A♠ river.
"Just give him my change," KM said and hurried back to his seat in the Single Day High Roller. Mouton's double was for 87,500 and that left KM with a short stack behind and more running duties.
Day 1b has seen the field reduced to just 29 hopefuls of which 13 are set to advance while the final starting heat has reached level three. Day 1c has attracted a total of 41 entries so far without any casualties. Among those to enter are Norman Cherry, Jedd Kossew, Nellie Park, Okkie Fourie, Sheldon Grove, Wesley Blom, Rachid Amamou, Edgar Antezana, and Joe Rahme, among others. Wesley Blom is also in the mix, having changed to a bright orange hoodie.
Florian Bock had recovered from a very short stack but ultimately got those chips into the middle against Renier Britz in the following preflop showdown.
