Kondah Doubles Through Derwiche with Quads

Nivel 14 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Imad Derwiche opened from the hijack and "Nabil" called on the button. In the small blind, Abdelhadi Kondah jammed for 173,000. With the action back on Derwiche, he rejammed, causing Nabil to fold as he showed JxJx.

Abdelhadi Kondah: AA All in
Imad Derwiche: KK

It was a cooler scenario between the two best starting hands. The A72 flop put Kondah in a commanding lead and the 7A runout improved him to quad aces as he got the full double at the expense of Derwiche.

Najim Makes the Right Call to Bust Canetti

Nivel 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

A large pot of around 105,000 had formed on the turn in a pot between Jeremie Canetti from under the gun and Yassine Najim from the cutoff.

With the board reading A4210, Canetti jammed his remaining 84,500 into the middle which sent Najim into the tank. After a minute of deliberation, he slide his chips forward to call, committing over half of his remaining stack.

Jeremie Canetti: A8 All in
Yassine Najim: AQ

Both players had top pair but Najim's kicker was better. However, Canetti could spike a heart or eight to double. Luckily for Najim, the river was a blank K and Najim's queen played to bust Canetti.
