Sol Cracks Aces to Bust Sanz

Adrien Sanz opened to 16,000 from middle position and Ramon Sol called on the button.

Heads-up to a J♣5♣2♥ flop, Sanz checked to Sol who bet 17,000, and Sanz quickly called.

The turn brought the 9♥. Sol continued to fire, this time for 45,000, and Sanz put in the call.

The K♦ peeled off on the river. Sanz checked for a third time and Sol announced all-in for 155,000 effective, sending Sanz into the tank. After three minutes, the clock was called. Shortly after, Sanz put the chips in the middle and the hands were revealed.

The 2♣ turn checked through to the 10♥ river which saw Cruz overbet jam for 375,000 effective into a pot of around 220,000. Chelihi deliberated for around a minute before he folded, as Cruz continues to accumulate chips through his aggression.

After a heads-up battle that lasted just over an hour, Alexandre Le Vaillant emerged victorious in the 2023 Unibet DeepStack Open Marrakech Main Event. Le Vaillant defeated Tristan Forge in an exciting heads-up battle that saw the chip lead exchange several times before Le Vaillant seized the victory to collect the first-place prize of 625,000 Moroccan Dirhams (€57,926).

Le Vaillant began the day as the chip leader and was firmly in the driver's seat for the early stages of the day as the field dwindled from 16 players down to the nine-handed final table. Le Vaillant did fall to the middle of the pack a few times during the final table but always managed to surge back up to the top of the chip counts each time. The French Pro moved over $500,000 in career tournament earnings, with this win being his second-biggest career cash.

Enselme Gets There Against Goyard

Arnaud Enselme opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Francesco Pillitteri called in the cutoff. On the button, Christophe Goyard three-bet to 22,000. Salah Ibnou Elghazi cold-called from the big blind, and the others called.

Four ways to a 9♥9♦3♣ flop, the action checked to Goyard who put out a sizeable bet of 75,000, and only Enselme called.

The turn brought the 2♠. Enselme checked to Goyard who down-sized to 28,000 and Enselme called.

The J♦ river quickly checked through. Enselme was disappointed as he tabled J♥J♣ for a rivered full house but did not get any action. Even more upset was Goyard who peeked at his cards one last time before he mucked, indicating that he was ahead until the river. Enselme scooped a massive pot at a table full of big stacks.

More Quads as Barouk Doubles Through Loudagh
