Blaz Zerjav raised to 400,000 from the button and Rokas Asipauskas defended the big blind to see a flop of 2♣Q♠K♦.

Asipauskas check-called a bet of 300,000 and then checked after the dealer burned and turned the 8♠.

Zerjav bet 1.2 million and Asipauskas burned his last time extension before calling.

Asipauskas, who had around 4.3 million behind, then checked for a third time after the J♦ completed the board on the river. Zerjav responded by moving all in and Asipauskas snap-called.

Asipauskas confidently tabled his hand first and was left shell-shocked when Zerjav revealed he had hit a gutshot straight on the river.

"Wow," was all Asipauskas could muster as the dealer verified the stacks.

Asipauskas led out for 150,000, Zerjav called, and then both players checked the 4♥ turn.

When the K♠ completed the board on the river, Asipauskas bet 400,000 and Zerjav responded by making it 1.1 million to go.

Asipauskas burned two time extensions contemplating what to do, and ultimately he flicked his cards to the muck.

Blaz Zerjav opened with a raise only to have Vlad Darie, the last remaining bracelet winner, three-bet big from the small blind for roughly half his stack. Rokas Asipauskas then four-bet jammed all in from the big, Zerjav folded, and Darie, who had a big portion of his chips already committed, called off for 2.61 million.

Darie was dominated and things got worse when the 9♣9♥A♦ flop paired the ace of Asipauskas. Darie needed to catch runner-runner, but the 3♥ turn took away and chance of that happening.

The meaningless 4♦ was run out on the river and Darie exited in fourth place, thus ensuring yet another first-time bracelet winner down here at the WSOP Paradise.

Vlad Darie raised to 300,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to the small blind Bruno Volkmann, he three-bet all in for his stack of 380,000. Once the big blind folded, Darie quickly called to put Volkmann at risk.

Volkmann had Darie dominated, but when the board ran out 5♦10♦8♦4♣3♠ Darie flopped a five to take the pot, and knock out Volkmann in fifth place.

Blaz Zerjav raised to 240,000 from the button and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 620,000 from the small blind. Zerjav called and then called a bet of 280,000 on the 10♦6♣Q♥ flop.

When the 8♠ appeared on the turn, Mustafov checked and Zerjav bet 350,000. Mustafov then sprung to life with an all-in check-raise for approximately 1.65 million and Zerjav snap-called.

Zerjav had flopped another set but Mustafov was drawing live as he had opted to get aggressive with his turned double gutshot straight draw.

Mustafov was looking for either a jack or seven, but he was left wanting as the A♠ completed the board on the river.

The turn brought the 3♣ and after Zerjav checked, Mustafov sized up to 575,000. Zerjav thought over his decision momentarily, before mucking his cards to give the pot to Mustafov.
