Barak Turns Top Pair
Nivel 1
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Four players put 5,000 in the middle to see the J♣9♥2♠ flop, where the action checked to Maksim Paniak as he fired 12,000. Only Itsach Barak made the call on the button.
The K♦ hit the turn and Paniak continued for 26,000. Barak wasted no time making the call.
The dealer rolled the 6♥ on the river and both players tapped the table. Paniak tabled Q♥J♥ for a pair of jacks, but was shown the bad news as Barak dragged the pot with K♠10♣.
