Jackson Raises Eyebrows with Pacheco Double
Nivel 17
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Daniel Neilson opened to 160,000 from under the gun and was called by Harvey Jackson on the button and Sosia Jiang in the small blind. Jorge Pacheco three-bet shoved all in for 1,625,000 from the big blind which got Neilson to fold. Jackson used three time banks and then called which led to Jiang folding.
Jorge Pacheco: A♠K♥
Harvey Jackson: J♥10♥
Jackson was feeling optimistic but the flop of K♦J♣2♠ gave Pacheco the larger of the two pairs. The 9♠ on the turn gave Jackson a straight draw but the 7♣ on the river ensured Pacheco of a double up.
