Haynie Coolers Lococo to the Rail
Nivel 17
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Derric Haynie and Alejandro Lococo engaged in a pre-flop raising war that ended with both players having their stacks in the middle.
Alejandro Lococo: Q♦Q♠
Derric Haynie: A♦A♣
Lococo had picked up queens in the small blind, but Haynie showed down a pair of aces in middle position. The board ran out 7♠K♦K♥5♦J♣ and Haynie secured the big pot.
The stacks were counted down and Haynie had Lococo's remaining 3,500,000 barely covered, sending the newly-crowned WSOP bracelet winner to the rail.
