Zubov Gets Called Lightly
Nivel 29
: Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Ren Lin opened to 2,400,000 on the button with Q♠9♦ and was called by Michael Addamo in the small blind with 7♣6♣. Alexander Zubov shipped all in for 9,900,000 in the big blind with 5♠5♥ which got called by Lin and Addamo stepped aside.
The flop came A♦J♥J♣ and the pair of fives from Zubov was still in the lead. The 2♥ on the turn was clean and the K♣ on the river ensured him of an early double up with just three tables remaining.
