Liv Boeree Eliminated in 4th Place ($2,800,000)
Nivel 36
: Blinds 3,000,000/6,000,000, 6,000,000 ante
Liv Boeree open-jammed a stack of 38,000,000 from the cutoff and Marcelo Aziz called on the button.
Liv Boeree: 4♦4♠
Marcelo Aziz: A♠8♠
Boeree sat stoic as the flop landed 9♣6♣3♠ to keep her ahead. But the A♦ then landed on the turn to give Aziz the lead and Boeree's magic fingers couldn't bring her a two-outer as the Q♣ bricked off on the river to mark her elimination.
It was a historic victory for Boeree who earned the largest tournament cash ever by a woman poker player, pipping Wenling Gao's runner-up finish in the online 2020 GGPoker WSOP Main Event for $2,748,605.
