2024 WSOP Paradise
With about 70,000 in the middle the turn read K♥J♣3♥7♥ and George-Bogdan Ana checked from the small blind before Hossein Ensan tossed a bet of 39,000 across the line next to act. Anatoly Filatov was in middle position and mucked his hand before Ana check-raised to 102,000. Ensan called.
The 9♣ completed the board on the river and Ana jammed for his last 100,000. Ensan called quickly to see the Q♥10♥ of Ana. He sighed as he rolled his 5♥2♥ onto the table and paid off the bet.

Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 21st episode, Connor speaks with Survivor legend Boston Rob, aka Rob Mariano, about growing up near Fenway Park, learning poker at the age of 6, studying psychology at Boston University, applying for Survivor and winning Season 22, his recent appearance on Deal or No Deal Island and filming an upcoming season of The Traitors.
Boston Rob also revealed a story about Costa Rican authorities raiding a mansion known to host high-stakes poker games during a 2006 filming that included Daniel Negreanu, Josh Arieh, David Williams, Michael Mizrachi and actress Cheryl Hines.
"(Gambling mogul) Calvin (Ayre) had a big party at the house, and they came in guns drawn," he said. "And we were fine, but we all had to stay at the party until they checked our passports and everything. I think it was a little bit of a shakedown. But we had a good weekend."
The Life Outside Poker podcast is available on major streaming platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, SoundCloud and iHeartRadio. You can also watch the interview with Boston Rob by heading to the PokerNews YouTube channel.
Punnat Punsri raised to 18,000 in middle position and was called by Jesse Lonis in the cutoff. They went heads up to a flop of 10♣6♦4♣ and Punsri started with a check. Lonis fired out a bet of 20,000 and Punsri check-raised to 65,000, which Lonis called.
The turn was the 7♦ and Punsri slid out a bet of 100,000. Lonis jammed all in as the bigger stack and Punsri called off his stack of 369,000.
Punnat Punsri: K♣J♣
Jesse Lonis: 6♠6♣
Lonis flopped a set of sixes but was facing Punsri's flush draw with one card to come. The river was the 5♣ and Punsri spiked his flush to double through Lonis.
Just before the hand, Alan Keating also joined the table which includes Nacho Barbero and Matthew Wantman.

Daniel Zack raised it up from the hijack and picked up two callers along the way. Aleksi Naski stuck in a three-bet to 100,000 from the big blind and Zack four-bet ripped all in. The action folded back to Naski who quickly called off his stack of 470,000.
Aleksi Naski: K♠K♦
Daniel Zack: 10♥10♣
The board ran out J♦7♦3♣6♦9♠ and Naski held on for a double up despite a near disaster on the river that got a reaction from the table.

Matt Glantz opened 20,000 in the cutoff and both Boris Kolev and Audrius Stakelis came along from the blinds.
When the J♠10♣7♠ flop hit the felt, the action checked to Glantz who continued for 15,000. Both Kolev and Stakelis made the call.
The A♣ fell on the turn, and once checked to, Glantz fired another bet of 65,000. This time only Kolev stuck around.
The board completed with the 3♦ on the river and Kolev checked for a final time. Glantz eyed Kolev's stack for about 30 seconds before piling up a bet of 189,000 and sliding it across the line. Kolev pondered briefly before eventually surrendering the pot.

Alan Keating has been up to his old tricks by putting pressure on his opponents, often putting all of his chips in the middle preflop. This time, Espen Myrmo found out the hard way when Keating actually woke up with a hand, as all of the chips went into the middle preflop.
Espen Myrmo: 10♠10♣
Alan Keating: Q♥Q♦
Keating had the best of it this time with the better of the two pocket pairs and the A♠J♦7♣K♥2♦ board ran out clean to eliminate Myrmo.
"All in, all in, all in and then pocket queens," Nacho Barbero piped up. "I've seen that before."
"Ya, but usually they're a bit older," Jesse Lonis chimed in, which got a laugh from Keating.
