Lache Survives on the River

Heads-up on a flop of K♦Q♣3♦, Vlad Lache bet 900,000 from middle position and Mustapha Kanit called in the big blind.

Lache bet another 2,400,000 on the 5♣ turn, but this time Kanit came back with an all-in shove. Lache burned through multiple time banks and took several minutes before committing his last 7,200,000.

Lache showed A♦A♥, but he had been outdrawn by Kanit's K♠Q♦ for top two pair. "Five," Lache pleaded, but the 3♠ was just as good as Lache made a better two pair to double up.

The turn was the 6♣ which slowed the action as both players checked to the Q♠ on the river. Mizzi counted out a bet of 3,300,000 on the river and Carey instantly sent his cards to the muck.

The Q♥ hit the turn and Cimbolas checked it over again before Bedell slid 5,100,000 across the line. After a short tank, Cimbolas mucked his hand.

The turn was the 5♠ and Minko bet another 3,000,000. Hissou again called and the 5♣ fell on the river. Hissou checked over to Minko once more, and this time Minko checked behind.

Hissou showed Q♦5♦ for a full house and Minko mucked 9♣7♣.
