Yuen Knocks Out Nagarajan

Nivel 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We missed how the betting went but Kartheeharan Nagarajan ended up all in preflop for his last 37,000 and Sida Yuen called.

Nagarajan: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Yuen: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} gave Yuen a set of eights but also gave Nagaranjan a gutshot straight draw. The turn and river were the {10-Hearts} and {3-Hearts} which couldn't help Nagaranjan and he was sent to the rail.

After the hand Yuen's stack was around 145,000.

Let's Make a Break!

Nivel 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The remaining 122 players have now been sent on a 20-minute break, although there was a murmur through the room when the tournament supervisor made the announcement.

"Players, you are on a one-hour break - sorry, 20-minute break!" Dang it, we were hoping to grab a late lunch!

Pain for Blain

Nivel 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

2009 APPT Macau Main Event champion Dermot Blain has just been eliminated from the tournament only minutes before the break, courtesy of Paul Loh.

All the money was in the middle before the flop. Blain had shipped the last of his stack into the middle with {Q-}{9-}, but he failed to improve on the {2-}{3-}{4-}{8-}{2-} board. No luck of the Irish today.
