Kelly is the Million Chip Kid

Nivel 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Kelly
Dan Kelly

I don't know but maybe someone put something in the water today because these players are not playing as slowly as we expected. Dan Kelly opened to 12,000 preflop with Erik Cajelais and Lars Bonding both making the call to see a {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} flop.

It was checked to Kelly who bet 42,000, Cajelais folded but Bonding check-raised to 109,000 only for Kelly to then move all in for a total of 509,000. Bonding shrugged and called.

Kelly: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Bonding: {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds} gave Kelly additional outs, now any king, queen, ten or eight would allow him to double up, any other card would spell his doom. The {K-Hearts} hit the river much to Bonding's disappointment and Kelly moved into the chip lead, Bonding has around 120,000 remaining.

Webber Misses Massive Draw, Hand Still Good

Nivel 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jon Spinks raised to 14,000 from the button and Joseph Webber made the call to see an {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. Webber check-called a bet of 18,000 on the flop and then another of 48,000 on the {4-Spades} turn before both checked the {8-Diamonds} river. Webber showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for a missed gutshot and flush draw and Spinks sighed and mucked his hand.

Bonding Session

Nivel 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Lars Bonding
Lars Bonding

Lars Bonding fired out 21,000 on a flop of {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} against Robbie Verspui and the Dutch player made the call in this Euro vs Euro battle. Verspui also called another [47,000 on the {J-Diamonds} turn before both players checked the {A-Spades} river.

Verspui showed {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} but he had been pipped by the rivered flush for Bonding, the Danish player holding {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Daniel Fischer Eliminated in 16th Place ($13,238)

Nivel 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Daniel Fischer
Daniel Fischer

Daniel Fischer from early position raised to a standard 13,000 with a call from Jonathan Spinks. Joseph Webber in late position however re-raised all in for over 250,000. The table folded over to Fischer who made the call, and after Spinks folded the cards were flipped.

Fischer seemed to have Webber dominated with {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} against Webber's {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} but the flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} leaving Fischer drawing dead besides the possibility of a chop with a straight flush on the board. The turn came the {Q-Spades} and Fischer hit the rail in 16th place.

Webber Gets Lucky

Nivel 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Joseph Webber raised to 15,000 preflop and Andrew Pantling called in the big blind.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and Pantling check-raised Webber's 25,000 bet to 51,000 which was called. Both players then checked the {7-Spades} turn before Pantling set Webber all in on for his last 87,000 on the {8-Diamonds} river. Webber snap-called having caught a two outer with {8-}{8-} against Pantling's {K-}{10-} to double back up.

He's Lunkin' Good

Well, if table 280 continues like this, we'll be finished in around three more hands. Jon Spinks opened the button to 14,000 and Joseph Webber called in the small blind with Vitaly Lunkin calling in the big blind.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Webber bet 26,000 with Lunkin and Spinks both making the call. The {4-Spades} on the turn saw Webber not slowing down and he bet 78,000, Lunkin slowly made the call again and Spinks folded before the {6-Clubs} river. Quickly Webber fired 150,000, Lunkin thought for a moment and made the call, Webber confidently showed {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} but it was no good against the Russian's flopped set holding of {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

First Hand and Pantling's Bluff is Good

Daniel Fischer opened to 12,000 from the hijack and got called by Andrew Pantling in the cutoff and Jon Spinks in the small blind.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Spinks checked, allowing Fischer to continue with a 27,000 bet, Pantling made the call and Spinks folded.

The {3-Hearts} turn saw Fischer fire a second time, betting 52,000 only for Pantling to make it 131,000. Fischer tanked and then made the call before both players checked the {9-Spades} river. Fischer could only show {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} meaning that Pantling's attempted bluff with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} was actually ahead all the way.
