Brenner Chips Up Young

We picked up the action on a flop that read {2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}; Jordan Young opened for 33,000 from the cutoff and Anton Brenner called before Young check-called Brenner's bet of 80,000 on the turn of the {6-Spades}.

Both players then checked the river of the {A-Spades} and young tabled {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair. Brenner kicked his hand into the muck.

Wade Sneaking Up to One Million

Ismail Abousharkh and Tristan Wade got in a preflop all in. Wade tabled {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} and Abousharkh turned over {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}.

The board ran {4-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} and Abousharkh never caught up and his tournament ended. With that pot Wade is sneaking up on 1,000,000.

Aljanedi Eliminated, Ray Doubles

From late position Zachary Ray limped, as did Shoaib Makani, Sameer Aljanedi and Anton Brenner. The four players all checked the {3-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} flop. The turn fell {8-Clubs} and Aljanedi moved all in for 124,000. Ray called and the others folded.

Ray: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Aljanedi: {K-Clubs} {J-Spades}

The board finished {8-Clubs} {2-Hearts} and Aljanedi was eliminated as Ray moved up to 458,000.

Marcum Doubles Through Young

Nivel 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dennis Marcum opened for 40,000 from the cutoff and Jordan Young, in the big blind, asked how much Marcum had behind. Marcum replied that he had 80ish and Young put out a big stack of green 25,000 chips to put Marcum all in. Marcum called and the hands were talbed.

Showdown:
Marcum: {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}
Young: {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}

Board: {K-Clubs} {9-Spades} {9-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {6-Hearts}

Marcum's two-pair doubled up his short stack to 260,000 and Young is still safe with around one million.

Di-Matteo Busto

Our field reporter caught another all-in-preflop situation, this time between John Di-Matteo, who was at risk with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} but was trailing the {A-Spades}{10-Spades} of Tom Carman.

The board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts} changed nothing except for the player count and we say goodbye to Di-Matteo.

Lavelle Busts Cousineau

Despite having doubled up in a previous hand, Tony Cousineau has just been eliminated from this event after moving the last of his chips into the middle preflop with {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}, only to run into the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} of Jeffrey Lavelle.

The dealer spread the board of {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Lavelle's two pair was more than enough to send Cousineau packing.

Janedi Doubles Through Makani

The action folded to Shoaib Makani who raised to 28,000 from the button preflop before Sameer Aljanedi reraised all-in for 98,000 from the small blind. Makani called, but his {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} trailed all the way down the board of {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} against Aljanedi's {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}.
