Seidel Continues Crushing

Nivel 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a board of {6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{4-Spades} Erik Seidel fied a bet of 25,000 into his opponent. You could cut the tension in the air with a knife as his opponent tanked for several minutes, tossing over the decision of making the call for almost all of his remaining chips. Eventually he mucked, letting Seidel scoop the pot and boost his stack to around 125,000 in chips.

Laak Loses Some Playing Blind

Nivel 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

We caught up with the action on a flop that read {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Phil Laak checked from the big blind and his opponent on the button bet 1,600. Laak immediately raised to 4,000 and his opponent called.

Both players checked when the {6-Hearts} fell on the turn, but when the {8-Hearts} fell on the river, Laak fired out for 7,250. Laak's opponent tank-called and Laak said, "I played the hand blind."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah."

Laaks opponent showed {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the baby flush. Laak decided to make it interesting and flip each card up separately. The first one was a {9-Clubs} and the second one was a {10-Spades}, leaving Laak with just ten-high.

Laak is currently sitting with 81,000.

Terry Advances

Catching the action with the board reading {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts} we found Stuart Rutter firing out a bet into Todd Terry.

Terry pushed a stack of orange 5,000-denomination chips into the pot to effectively put Rutter all in, and after nearly two minutes of deliberation, Rutter made the call.

Terry tabled his {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for trips, and Rutter mucked while simultaneously sending Terry through to round two.

Benyamine Bullies His Opponent into a Fold

Nivel 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a flop reading {Q-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Spades}, the player in the big blind checked and his lone opponent, David Benyamine, bet 3,000 from early position. Benyamine's opponent announced, "Raise," and moved a stack worth 10,000 into the middle. Benyamine moved his remaining 23,000 into the middle and his opponent folded.

"I had a spade," Benyamine's opponent said.

Benyamine is currently at 36,000.
