Woods on Fire; Burns Down McCormick

Darren Woods, fresh off his win in Event #19 $2,500 Limit Hold'em/Six Handed, has managed to turn his day around and is now among the chip leaders. After having been short stacked and all in just a few hours ago, Woods is now up to over 200K.

In one hand, Tom McCormick raised from early position only to have Woods three-bet from the small blind. The player in the big blind woke up with a four-bet, and both his opponents made the call. Woods was first to act when the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}, and he quickly checked. The big blind put out a bet, McCormick raised all in for 4,500, and Woods made the call. The big blind completed and Woods called that as well.

Woods proceeded to check-call a bet on the {5-Spades} turn, and then led out on the {7-Hearts} river. The big blind called that bet and Woods rolled over {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a flopped set. The big blind quickly mucked and McCormick sheepishly revealed {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} before making his way to the exit.
