Barry Greenstein raised from middle position and Todd Witteles three-bet as the next to act. The big blind called but Greenstein four-bet it. Witteles and the big blind called as the {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop rolled out. It was checked to Greenstein who bet and Witteles folded. The big blind came in with a check-raise which Greenstein called. On the {J-Spades} turn, the big blind led out and Greenstein raised him. The big blind made the call and check-called on the {2-Spades} river as Greenstein showed {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} for top-top. The big blind also showed {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} as the players chopped it up.

Still Geller Time

Maya Geller raised in early position and John Hennigan three-bet from the small blind. Geller called and raised Hennigan’s bet on the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. Hennigan three-bet again and Geller just called. Hennigan slowed down and checked the {10-Hearts} turn and Geller bet. Hennigan called and the action was the same on the {2-Clubs} river. Geller turned over {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} for top two and her stack continued to grow as Hennigan mucked. These are their stacks and the others at the table.

Run to the Cellar, It's Maya Geller

JC Tran raised from early position and was called by Maya Geller in middle position. Alessio Isaia came along for the ride in the big blind and it was three players to the {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop. It went check-bet-raise-fold-call, leading to the {10-Hearts} turn.

Tran checked, Geller bet, and Tran simply folded. Geller showed {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} as she took down the pot.

Straightening Out the Competition

Nivel 7 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

A player in early position raised and Jennifer Harman made it three bets to go. All the other players cleared out of the way and the initial raiser called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the preflop raiser checked to Harman who tossed out a bet. The other player then put in a raise and Harman decided to call.

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} and the first player bet but now it was Harman's turn to put in a raise. He opted to call and they saw the {j-Spades} fall on the river. The other player check-called a bet from Harman but mucked his hand when she revealed her {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for a jack high straight.

After the hand Harman's stack grew to around 43,000.

Back-to-Back for Buchanan

We caught up with the action three-handed on a {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} board between the big blind, Eli Elezra and Shawn Buchanan. The big blind checked, Elezra bet and Buchanan went into the tank. After quite some time, he made the call as did the big blind. Elezra showed {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} for top-top on the river but Buchanan turned over {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} for a straight. The big blind mucked and Buchanan won the pot.

As he was still piling the chips from his win however, Buchanan got into another hand. On a {J-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Darren Woods bet after Elezra and Buchanan had checked to him. Both players made the call and everyone checked the {7-Hearts} on the turn. On the {5-Clubs} river, Elezra bet and Buchanan called. Woods folded and Elezra announced “seven” which was no good as Buchanan turned over {J-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a higher pair.
