Schoonover Lays it Down

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The player under the gun moved all in for 12,000 total and it was folded around to Joshua Schoonover in the big blind who was sitting with a stack of around 52,000. He looked at his cards and quickly folded {A-}{J-} face up. UTG showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and the small blind repeatedly said “WOW!” along with some railbirds who concurred and said sick fold too.

Pasqualini Wins a Pot

We missed the amounts but saw Jean-Paul Pasqualini raise from the small blind and lead out against the big blind who called preflop and on the {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. On the {J-Hearts} turn, Pasqualini slowed down and checked. The big blind bet 5,000 but was met with a check-raise to 15,500 from Pasqualini. The small blind made the call but folded when Pasqualini put him all in on the {7-Diamonds} river.

The Reign of Raghavan Continues

A player in middle position raised to 4,200 and a player in late position re-raised all in to 46,000. Ravi Raghavan (who had both players covered) went all in as well. The initial raiser called for the rest of his chips and all three hands were revealed

Raghavan: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Middle Position: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Late Position: {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and both the all-in players were eliminated while Raghavan's stack soared to 245,000.

No More Chips for Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick ended up all in preflop for his last 41,000 against the player in the big blind. Chidwick's {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} was leading the other player's {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} through the flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, but the {10-Spades} on the turn gave the other player the lead. The {q-Hearts} on the river was no help to Chidwick and he was sent to the rail.

Raghavan Ravaging His Table

Ravi Raghavan raised to 3,700 from early position and action folded around to the big blind who moved all in for 9,800. Raghavan called and they revealed their hands.

Raghavan: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Big Blind: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The flop was bad news for the all-in player when it came {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} giving Raghavan a pair of sevens. The turn of the {a-Clubs} turned his hand into two pair, and the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave Raghavan an unneeded full house. The big blind was sent to the rail while Raghavan's stack grew to 140,000.

Slaubaugh Sighs

With the board reading {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and around 20,000 already in the pot, the player in the small blind bet out 7,000 and Cody Slaubaugh called from the button.

The {j-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and the small blind bet 11,000. Slaubaugh then raised to 23,500 only to have the small blind shove all in for a total of 42,000. Slaubaugh sighed and mucked his hand leaving himself with around 60,000.

Nassif Doubles Through McClung

Chris McClung's stack is still heading in the wrong direction. He raised to 3,700 from the button only to have Gabriel Nassif shove all in for around 20,000 from the big blind. McClung decided to call but found he was way behind.

Nassif: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
McClung: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Nassif doubled to around 45,000 while McClung's stack dipped to 102,000.

Straight Beats Souza

After a flop of {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}, Michael Souza check-called a bet of 4,400 from his opponent. The {7-Hearts} came on the turn and both players checked to see the {9-Clubs} on the river. Souza checked again and the other player bet 15,800. Souza called but mucked his hand after the other player revealed his {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a rivered queen-high straight.

Souza was left with 42,000 after the hand.
