Fricke On His Last Legs

Razz

Andrey Zaichenko: (X)(X) / {9-}{7-}{5-}{9-} / (X)
Jimmy Fricke: (X)(X) / {5-}{2-}{10-}{2-} / (X)

We came into the hand on sixth street when Andrey Zaichenko bet and Jimmy Fricke called. Seventh street was dealt and Zaichenko bet again with Fricke taking his time before finally calling. Zaichenko showed {a-}{4-}{2-} and Fricke sighed and said "Easy game eh?" as he threw his cards into the muck. Fricke is down to just 20,000 after the hand while Zaichenko is up over 300,000

Angle or Not, Negreanu Chipping Up

Daniel Negreanu just turned to the PokerNews blogging desk and said, "You know where I'm coming from right?"

Both the bloggers that were seated responded with a yes and a few nods.

"Like, it can be such an angle shot, as I can bet half and if he raises me, it's just a call!"

Since the argument, Negreanu however has chipped back up to be hovering around the 95,000-chip mark

Oppenheim Takes Some from O'Dell

Nivel 13

Omaha-8

Frankie O'Dell raised in the cutoff, and David Oppenheim made it three bets from the button. O'Dell called, and they went to the {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} flop heads up. O'Dell check-raised Oppenheim, who called. The turn was the {j-Diamonds}, and Oppenheim flatted a 6,000-chip big bet. O'Dell gave up with a check on the {a-Clubs} river, and Oppenheim checked behind and showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. His aces up was good enough to scoop the whole pot.

Dwan Scoops With Sixes

Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

Stud-8

Daniel Alaei: (X)(X) / {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Clubs} / (X)
Tom Dwan: (X)(X) / {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} / (X)
Eight Seat: (X)(X) / {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} / (X)

We came in on fourth street when the eight seat checked, Alaei Bet, Dwan raised, the eight seat called and Alaei called. On fifth street the eight seat checked, Alaei checked, Dwan bet and both players called. On sixth street the eight seat checked, Alaei checked, Dwan bet again and both players called. All three players checked seventh street and Dwan announced "Just sixes" which surprisingly was enough to scoop the whole pot.

Dwan is up to second in chips after the hand with 218,000 and Alaei has fallen down to 90,000.

Queens Full Good

Stud-8

Alleman: (X)(X) / {4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} / (X)
South: (X)(X) / {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} / (X)

On seventh street, Anton Allemann bet 6,000 Cole South raised to 12,000 and Allemann re-raised to 18,000. South thought for a couple of minutes but finally put out the last 6,000 and Allemann announced "Queens Full" and showed {q-}{9-}{j-} for queens full of nines. Cole instantly mucked and fell down to just 20,000. Allemann broke the six-figure mark after the hand and is up to 100,000.

Binger Doubles

Nivel 13

On the direct hand after Michael Binger and Daniel Negreanu got in a heated argument, Binger has found an ironic double through the Canadian.

Hold'em

Binger opened to 6,000 from the cutoff only to have Negreanu three-bet to 9,000 from the button. Binger called before check-raising the {K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop with Negreanu making the call as the {6-Clubs} landed on the turn. Binger moved his last 6,000 into the pot and Negreanu made the call.

Binger: {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Negreanu: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The river landed the {7-Spades} and Binger doubled through to 45,000 as Negreanu slipped to roughly 35,000 in chips.
