Tens-Up for Ashton

Nivel 22

Hold'em

Andrey Zaichenko opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Matthew Ashton defended his big blind to see a {10-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop fall.

Ashton check-called a 25,000-chip continuation-bet as the {4-Clubs} on the turn went check, check. The river of the {4-Diamonds} saw Ashton lead for 50,000 and Zaichenko made the call only to muck at the sight of Ashton's {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Action folded around to Jacobo Fernandez in the cutoff who raised the action. Max Pescatori made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Pescatori got the rest of his remaining chips in the middle.

Pescatori: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Fernandez: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Pescatori was ahead and stayed that way after the turn and river came {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Both players are now about even in chips.

Omaha-8

Kyle Loman two-bet from under the gun only to have Tom Dwan three-bet to 75,000 next to act. Loman made the call before checking the {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} flop as Dwan bet out 25,000. Loman made it 50,000 to go and Dwan made the call as the {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Loman checked, Dwan bet and Loman made the call before check-calling 50,000 when the river landed the {4-Clubs}.

Dwan tabled his {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to scoop both the high and the low to move to over 1.7 million as Loman flashed his {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}.
