Boeree Takes a Big Hit

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

We caught up on the action on the turn with the board reading {2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Boeree check-called a 2,500 bet from an opponent in the cutoff. The river came {7-Spades} and Boeree checked once more. Boeree's opponent's made a near pot-sized bet of 6,825, sending Boeree into the tank. Boeree landed on a call and mucked when her opponent showed the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for the rivered nut-flush.

Boeree is down to about 7,500.

D'Angelo Climbing Back

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ryan "g0lfa" D'Angelo entered the pot with a raise to 500 from middle position and was called by the small blind as the flop fell {3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

D'Angelo fired a continuation-bet of 700 which was check-called by the small blind as the {5-Spades} rolled off on the turn.

D'Angelo's 1,800-chip bet would see him successful in collecting the pot as he moved to 9,200 in chips.

Negreanu Bleeding Chips

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in middle position raised to 500 and found one customer in Negreanu, who called from the button.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Negreanu's opponent c-bet to 700. Negreanu made the call.

Both players checked when the {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

The river came the {K-Spades} and this time, Negreanu's opponent fired out 2,600. Negreanu fell deep into the tank, but eventually landed on a fold.

Negreanu is down to just over 7,000 chips.

Bach Takes Seat, Then Busts

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a board of {4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} we found David Bach contesting a sizeable pot.

After his opponent bet out, Bach moved all in and was snap-called.

Tabling his {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a full house, Bach would be unfortunately sent to the rail when his opponent tabled his {Q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

"That's painless. At least I can play the Stud!" stated Bach, which amazingly was his first and only hand in today's tournament after late registering.

Shannon Shorr Chipping Up

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Before the flop, a player from middle position raised to 600 and was called from the hijack, cutoff and Shannon Shorr in the small blind.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Shorr checked. The original raiser c-bet to 1,500 and was called only by Shorr.

The turn brought a {3-Diamonds} and both players checked to see a river, which was the {7-Spades}. Shorr then under-bet the pot for just 900, which induced a raise from the middle position player to 2,800. Shorr thought it over a bit before re-raising the other player all in.

"You play great," Shorr's opponent said as he mucked his {A-}{J-} face up for top pair, top kicker.

Shorr is now up to around 29,000.

Hard(er) For Some Ladies

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

With a raise to 525, Chad Batista three-bet to 1,350 a few spots over before Christian Harder four-bet jammed for his remaining 7,450. The original raiser folded, but Batista made the call to put Harder at risk.

Batista: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Harder: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} to see Harder double through to over 16,000 as Batista slipped to roughly 3,500 in chips.
