Lindgren Trips Up to 50k

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Erick Lindgren (from Event #3)
Erick Lindgren (from Event #3)

Tim West entered the pot with a raise to 1,200 only to have Erick Lindgren three-bet the cutoff to 3,700.

The small blind smooth-called as West mucked before the dealer dropped a {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Lindgren continued for 4,200 with his opponent making the call as the {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Faced with another check, Lindgren pushed out a 9,500-chip bet which was called by the small blind as the dealer delivered the {J-Diamonds} on the river.

The small blind tapped the table once more before Lindgren cut out a bet amounting to 15,500. His opponent went deep into the tank before making the call, only to muck at the sight of Lindgren's {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} as the recently wed pro moves to over 50,000 in chips.

Freddy Deeb Eliminated

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Freddy Deeb was all in for his last few thousand chips with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} preflop. He was up against the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for Ayaz Mahmood, last year's $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship champion.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to put Mahmood in the lead with a pair of eights. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and the river the {K-Spades}. Both of those missed Deeb, which meant Mahmood got the win and earned the elimination with his two pair, eights and sixes.

Jarvis Cold Four-Bets

One player in middle position raised to 950 and then the hijack seat three-bet to 2,700. Matthew Jarvis was in the cutoff seat and stuck in a four-bet to 5,875. That four-bet was good enough to win him the pot.

Affleck Busts Lewis

Matt Affleck had raised to 900 before Toby Lewis came back over the top with a reraise to 2,350. Action folded back to Affleck and he moved a tall stack of yellow T1,000 chips forward to set Lewis all in. Lewis snap-called as if he couldn't get his money in fast enough against Affleck.

Affleck: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Lewis: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Affleck won the pot, eliminating Lewis from the tournament.

"You must be one crazy guy," said another player at the table to Affleck. Affleck responded with a smile.
