A Few Chip Counts From Around the Room

Bowker Busts Two and Soars to Lead

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Facing a raise to 6,500, Victor Ramdin moved all in for roughly 25,000 from the cutoff. With the action on Kyle Bowker in the big blind, he pushed for over 200,000 as the original raiser made the call for his 50,000 total.

Ramdin: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}
Bowker: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Original Raiser: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board was spread {J-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} to see Bowker bust both Ramdin and the third player while moving into the chip lead with 295,000 in chips.

What Up, Doc?

Dave "Doc" Sands just doubled up to about 175,000 after getting his 75,400 into the middle preflop with one other player after some three-way action preflop. Sands held the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and his opponent the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Sands won the hand.

Mortensen Can't Call

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Carlos Mortensen opened for 5,000 from middle position and got called in three spots, including the small blind. The flop ran out {2-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Spades} and the small blind checked, which brought a 10,000 c-bet from Mortensen. The two middle position players called and the small blind folded.

The turn came the {4-Diamonds} and everyone checked.

The {K-Diamonds} landed the river, double-pairing the board and completing the flush draw. Mortensen checked, as did the player beside him. However, the third player went all-in for his last 25,000. Mortensen looked like he wanted to call, but instead folded, as did the other player.

"I couldn't call with the player behind me," Mortensen said.

Mortensen stack is still healthy at 140,000.

Some Random Chip Counts

Bonyadi Takes Some From Lemke

Catching up with the action on a an {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board, both Farzad Bonyadi and Brian Lemke checked to see the {J-Diamonds} turn card. Bonyadi checked, leading to Lemke betting 6,400. A call from Bonyadi delivered the {8-Clubs} on the river which Bonyadi checked again. Lemke bet 11,500, getting quickly called by Bonyadi.

Lemke turned over {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, but Bonyadi had him beat with {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

Longest. Hand. Ever.

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Martin Kabrhel entered the pot with a raise to 4,900 which was called by Victor Ramdin next to act and Christian Harder from the button as both blinds called too.

The {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop was checked through to Ramdin who cut out a 11,000-chip bet which was smooth-called by Harder as the blinds passed.

Throwing a virtual death stare at Ramdin for nearly two minutes, Kabrhel eventually slid out a raise amounting to 30,200. Ramdin instantly mucked, but it was now Harder's turn to dive deep into the tank for nearly two minutes before he made the call.

With the dealer dropping the {2-Hearts} on the turn and the hand already lasting over six minutes, Kabrhel sat there motionless as not one, not two, but four minutes went by before he slid out two stacks of chips amounting to a 39,700-chip bet.

Harder didn't as much time as the previous street to make a decision; and that decision was a fold as he slipped to 85,000 while Kabrhel climbed to 210,000 in chips following a near 15-minute hand.

Brady Finds a Spot

From the hijack seat, Kyle Bowker raised to 5,000. The cutoff seat three-bet to 13,700 and then action moved to Matt Brady in the small blind. He reraised all in for approximately 70,000. The big blind and Bowker folded back to the cutoff seat. He sat and tanked for a bit to give Brady a sweat, but wound up folding as well.
