Nettles Gets Runner-Runner Straight to Survive

Nivel 4 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

A short-stacked Luke Nettles opened from the button and Randy "Nanonoko" Lew three-bet from the small. Kwon folded on the big and Nettles four-bet. Lew announced, "Cap," and Nettles came along.

The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Lew led out. Nettles, looking like he just wanted to get the rest of his chips in the middle, announced a raise. Lew re-raised and Nettles called all in.

"I'm drawing dead," Nettles said, tabling {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Lew flipped up {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The {A-Diamonds} turn and {K-Hearts} river gave Nettles a straight and he chipped back up to 21,000.

Herbel Takes One Down

Markus Herbel raised from under the gun, and received a call from Matthew Schreiber in the big blind. The dealer put out three cards in the middle and they looked something like this {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Herbel again put out a bet after Schreiber checked. Schreiber called and got to see the turn.

With a {j-Diamonds} fourth street Schreiber took control of the hand and lead out with a bet. Herbel simply called.

The {7-Diamonds} river brought a check-call from Schreiber. Herbel flipped over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for a turned straight and the winning hand.

First Heads-Up Table

With the elimination of Al Riccobono, Table 287 is now down to heads-up between Eric Crain and Justin Pechie.

Pechie has a big lead of about three to one on Crain, but we saw players come back from being down 20-1 yesterday so that doesn't mean much. We'll keep you updated on as they battle it out for the first spot on tomorrow's final table
